Position: Zonal Sales Manager (Retail – Yale Range)

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager (North)

Operation Area: Delhi

Position Summary

ASSA ABLOY is looking for a Zonal Sales Manager based at Delhi, for managing and expanding the distribution channel of Yale Retail in Delhi. The incumbent will be responsible to take care of retail sales operations i.e., driving revenue growth, market expansion, market & competition analysis, selling products mix, timely payment collections, price management in coordination with internal teams, and managing the team of Area Manager/s, Area Sales Executive/s.

Role & Responsibility:

  • Deliver the Revenue objectives for Yale Retail business as per plan in the assigned zone.

  • Review performance of existing distribution channel and proactively ensure high growth.

  • Identification & appointment of new channel partners as per company criteria to expand reach and counter presence.

  • Build and manage the demand generation for all product categories through planned activations and new product placements in the retail market.

  • Focus on Distributors’ secondary sales, stock management and price management.

  • Design and implement promotional Schemes to the channel and monitor the performance of the schemes.

  • Identify key influencers like carpenters and local contractors/ architects/ builders and ensure regular & structured engagement like product trainings, meets etc. as part of business development responsibility.

  • Support in working capital management by ensuring timely collection of outstanding.

  • Closely monitor competition actions, new developments.

    Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must possess functional knowledge of retail business in building material industry preferably in Residential Hardware segment.

  • Must have strong connect with Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors & Influencers.

  • Should maintain time discipline and strong work ethics.

  • Must have good verbal and email communication skills.

  • Should be responsive, organized and energetic.

  • Possesses a high level of integrity and ownership of responsibilities.

  • Shows high drive for results and execution excellence.

  • Strong follows up skills with stakeholders till the result is achieved.

  • Must have strong relationship management skills.

  • Strong motivation to know products and ability to present/demonstrate the products successfully to the customers.

    Qualification Criteria:

  • MBA/ Post Graduation in Sales & Marketing.

  • Currently working on a manager profile with team handling experience.

  • 5 - 8 years of Experience in the Building material Industry – Hardware/Tiles/Sanitary/Paints /Modular kitchen/Electrical/Doors and windows/Plywood/Laminates/Glass etc.

  • Should be proficient in English & Hindi language.

  • Proficiency in MS excel and power point.

  • Age preferred between 28 to 35 years.
