The role

The Procurement Associate / Senior Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting SoftwareOne’s customers by processing purchase orders (POs) received from the sales team. This involves crafting sales orders to confirm to customers, collaborating with publishers to place POs, handling delivery coordination, validating deliveries, and ensuring final delivery to customers as per standards within SLA, hence acquiring highly accurate data, ensuring better savings for organization

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Validate Customer order and vendor quotes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with procurement policies.

  • Communicate optimally through emails, reports, and reminders to ensure timely updates and alignment across customers.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and finance departments to address invoice disputes and optimize procurement outcomes.

  • Stay updated on standard processes in procurement, supply chain management, and resource planning systems.

  • Accept challenges, multitask effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

What we need to see from you

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, supply chain (preferred)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills written & verbal.

  • 2-3 year’s/prior experience Customer service experience

  • Proficiency/knowledge of MS Office, and Adobe Acrobat

  • Good problem-solving, consultative, and research skills.

  • Customer focused attitude

  • Strong multitasking, and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with a team
