WHAT YOU'LL DO:

In your role as NetWeaver Procedure Owner you are enabling the delivery of robust, downtime optimized and highly automated lifecycle management activities operated within ECS.Your focus will be the standardization of migrations of customer landscapes to SAP ECS infrastructure. You will analyze/improve technical migration and integration processes, drive them towards standardization/automation to support our SAP ECS migration approach and verification of these processes - based on the different Multi-cloud platforms with focus on scaling operations.

Following activities will be part of your role:

  • Contribute to cloud-like innovation, standardized maintenance activities for seamless customer experience

  • Experience with SAP Migration Tools SWPM, SUM and SAP HANA system replication on conceptional and hands-on basis

  • Need hands on OS DB migration (both Heterogenous and Homogeneous) and SAP Cloud Migration experiences

  • Need very strong SAP Basis skills

  • Optimize and stabilize NetWeaver lifecycle management procedures in a pro-active way leveraging analytical tools and capabilities

  • Covering multi-cloud providers like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform

  • Hands on Experience in BASIS

  • Structure and coordinate activities, action plans incl. requirements engineering, prioritization, and creating aligned timelines for deliverables

  • Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilizing the expert network

  • Manage relationship between different stakeholder groups inside and outside ECS Delivery

  • Change Management tracking of technical topics in Jira

  • Create and align test plans, support and perform testing/validation and roll-out activities

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 8 - 13 years professional experience in IT infrastructure, customer landscape migrations to SAP Cloud or related areas

  • Experience with SAP Migration Tools SWPM, SUM and SAP HANA system replication on conceptional and hands-on basis

  • Strong OS (Linux), Database (SAP HANA & SAP ASE) and system operations (Monitoring, Backup, IDM etc.) know-how as well as multi-cloud platforms

  • Ideally familiar with either ECS infrastructure and/or ECS processes

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Fluency in English languagewith strong communication skills

  • Willingness and experience working in international teams.
