Overview
FUNCTIONAL TITLE: Sr. Associate Information Security- Technical, Global Security Office
JOB SUMMARY:
The candidate will help to generate the reports and integrate sources through automation for vulnerability assessment and penetration testing activities and must have a good understanding of IT and IT Security related technologies including authentication, authorization, logging, event, and incident management.
The responsibilities associated with the position are as follows:
working experience in Linux devices using command line interface
working experience in Windows devices
Improve the internal processes by automating manual processes using any Python/PowerShell/Bash script/Ruby
Good understanding and experiencing in writing SQL queries
Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
Understanding of patch management with the ability of understanding business impact
Thorough understanding of computer-related security systems including firewalls, encryption, and password protection and authentication
Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
Should be familiar with Windows environments and management domains, Firewalls, VPNs, Intrusion Detection Systems, and enterprise level information technology
Coordinate with asset owners and other relevant stakeholders to action response plans, help educate team personnel and asset owners about the vulnerabilities and their ramifications

Build a smooth relationship with IT stakeholders
Support documentation newly identified vulnerabilities as accepted risks
Strong oral communications and writing skills are a must
Security rating and application security testing tools knowledge would be plus
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with encryption and cipher technologies
Experience with Microsoft Office software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, PowerBI, and SharePoint
Must have experience on Python/PowerShell/Bash script/Ruby and SQL
Must have administering windows and Linux operating systems
Good to have exposure/experience on security testing tools such as NeXpose, Nessus, Metasploit, and the Kali Linux suite
CEH preferred
