Role Overview

The Global Benefits Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Ankura’s employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, commuter benefits, workers compensation, retirement, and other plans. This role is based in Gurugram, India and is hybrid with it being required to be in the office 3 days a week.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with Benefits Partners and Broker to manage Ankura’s benefits programs and policies, such as Health, Life, Disability, Wellness, Leave Administration, Retirement, Workers Compensation, etc.

  • Assist with the day to day administration of Ankura’s various Leave of Absence Programs, including making system updates, payroll coordination, time off and balance reporting, amongst other administrative tasks to ensure ensuring compliance with all state and federal guidelines.

  • Apply a strong project management focus to ensure project objectives are delivered within budget.

  • Lead Ankura’s Benefit Invoice Payment and Reconciliation process and track towards budget; converse with finance and Brokers as needed to ensure payment timeliness and accuracy.

  • Work with global team members to improve employees’ understanding of benefit programs and resolve employee questions and problems via HR Support.

  • Lead Ankura’s COBRA administration, including working with inactive population and COBRA vendor to ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines.

  • Provide timely support for internal and external audits, data requests, etc. while ensuring the confidentiality of people data, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and GDPR.

  • Ensure compliance with all global data privacy requirements, healthcare reporting, and all federal, state, and local legal requirements.

  • Supports broader Total Rewards projects as needed, including Compensation, Operations, Workforce Planning, People Analytics & Insights, Recognize@Ankura, etc.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • 5+ years of employee benefits experience, focused on benefit administration

  • Executive presence and presentation skills

  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills and demonstrate the ability to focus on delivering accurate, error free work

  • Knowledgeable of all major aspects of employee benefits delivery and design principles

What Could Set You Apart:

  • Workday experience is highly desirable, especially experience working with the Benefits module.

  • Experience working in the professional services industry.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and people skills.

  • Experience with data analysis techniques and tools such as MS Excel, Tableau, or SQL.

  • Experience conducting RFPs, plan implementation and vendor management.

  • Skilled at effectively managing and prioritizing escalations or business critical situations.

  • Consistently exhibits high levels of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
