Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM (Building Information Modeling) & Digital Lead to join our team at AECOM. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of BIM and digital solutions across various projects within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector. You will work closely with project teams to drive the adoption of digital technologies, improve project delivery processes, and enhance collaboration among stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with a passion for innovation and a strong background in BIM and digital technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of BIM standards, workflows, Bim execution plans and best practices across AECOM projects.

• Provide guidance and support to project teams in the use of BIM tools and technologies to optimize project delivery and efficiency.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and construction professionals, to integrate BIM into project workflows and processes.

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in BIM and digital technologies and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

• Champion the use of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration, communication, and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate project teams on BIM processes, tools, and methodologies.

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the effective implementation and integration of BIM software and technologies.

• Act as a liaison between project teams and clients to ensure alignment on BIM requirements and deliverables.

Experience & Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in BIM implementation and digital transformation within the AEC industry

• Proficiency in BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.

• Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 19650) and experience developing and implementing BIM execution plans (BEPs).

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving change management initiatives.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferred.
