S&P Global Data Transformation Analyst I in Gurgaon, India

The Team:

The Data Transformation Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of customer data within CARFAX’s systems and work cross-functionally to articulate data quality problems to both technical and business staff.

Our team is a close-knit team of Data transformation Analysts that take pride in the detailed work they do and understand that data quality is not a destination, but a journey.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Ensure the accuracy of customer data within Carfax’s systems

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve customer data discrepancies

  • Research information that will improve the accuracy of customer data (e.g., name, address, phone number, zip code, website, etc.)

  • Manually input data to augment records

  • Articulate data quality problems to both technical and business staff

  • Gain knowledge of the processes that change data, and develop rules that govern data

  • Understand and contribute to the customer matching process

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 0-2 years of work experience dealing with data quality

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products

  • Excellent written/oral communication skills

  • Willing to work in US and UK time zones in rotational shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce a plus

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus
