Data Engineer Summar

The Data Engineer will be responsible for the Development, Testing and Implementation of the application integration, and orchestration of our proprietary data intake platform using Talend Enterprise Data Integration Studio and AWS Native technologies.

Experience Required

  • 6 - 9 years of experience working with TalenD (7.3 version or higher version) Enterprise Data Integration Studio

  • Proficiency with JMS Queue integration is a plus.

  • Proficiency with Rest and SOAP.

  • 6+ years of experience working with High Volumes of Files Handling or Manipulation and Complex Data

  • Experience with Java Development and Maven Builds

  • Experience with AWS Technologies including S3, EC2, Lambda, Pyspark, Glue, Kinesis, Firehose, Redshift or equivalent database such as Dynamo.

  • Highly proficient with SQL

  • Proficiency with CI/CD Tooling such as Gitlab, Jenkins, Sonarqube, and Mend

Unique Competencies

  • Able to translate designs into efficient and effective solutions for application integration and orchestration.

  • Understand relational database technologies and data warehousing concepts and processes.

  • Able to deal with complex technical issues.

  • Detail oriented with analytical skills.

  • Capable of performing tasks in dynamic/changing environment.

  • Good communication skills required for interface with various stakeholder groups.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent amount of work experience in a TalenD/ETL Developer or similar role
