Ameritex Pipe & Products LLC Quality Control Technician - Gunter in Gunter, Texas

**Location: 1750 Wall Street Rd Gunter TX

*If you have a QC certification (QCAST, ACI, or PCI) you will receive higher pay. *Pay: $21 - $21 an hour plus over time after 40 hours - DOE **Hours: 5am - 5:30pm M-F and select Saturday, availability for night shift required (4pm-4:30am) will be given ample notice $500 New Hire Sign On Bonus

We provide full benefits at 60 days, PTO and 401K at 6 months of employment. Ability to lift 50 lbs continuously throughout the day Ability to go up and down ladders throughout the day**

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of arithmetic and geometry and their applications.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, and production processes
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Minimum of 1 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience require

Duties:

  • Follows Safety Guideline and procedures set for this role.
  • Does not operate any equipment, machinery or tool if he/she has not been trained to operate.
  • Monitors and reviews information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
  • Inspects materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
  • Provides information to supervisors or co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person to help the team make proper business decisions.
  • Evaluates the preparation of products during the manufacturing process
  • Evaluates and reports proper dimensions, conditions and cleanliness and placement of the products.
  • Conducts final inspections of the products before releasing it to the yard.
  • Validates the procedures for damage repairs and evaluations.
  • Verifies proper final procedures and the results for handling and storing our products.
  • Ensures the final products have the proper approval stamps and the products have been released to shipping without damages or quality failures.
