Role Summary:

This role leads a team of Maintenance Technicians, directing tasks and initiatives that enhance production safety, cost-efficiency, and quality. The position reports to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead maintenance teams, providing performance feedback and facilitating the resolution of complex problems.

  • Foster collaborative problem-solving and continuous process improvement.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to develop, simplify, standardize, and automate work processes.

  • Build and leverage cross-functional relationships to integrate ideas, data, and insights for continuous improvement.

  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and governance of production routings, raw material structures, and operational drawings.

  • Ensure the uptime of critical production assets and manage maintenance work orders.

  • Manage the preventive maintenance program and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors.

  • Support operational activities link to SO, including R&D and continuous improvement (CI) projects.

  • Perform assigned electrical tasks and participate in safety initiatives, creating action plans to address safety concerns.

  • Promote training and development within the maintenance team.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience/Skills:

  • BS or BA Degree in a relevant field with 5-7 years of relevant experience.

  • Electrical trade certification (309A or 442A).

  • Experience in manufacturing with leadership responsibilities in a similar environment.

  • Demonstrated collaborative problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mentality.

  • Proven ability in employee coaching, performance management, and talent development.

  • Proficient in daily SFM with an emphasis on root cause analysis.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
