Honeywell Sr Field Service Technician in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico
As a Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for providing technical expertise and guidance in field service operations. You will guide a team of technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to our customers. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, conducting equipment installations and maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will report directly to our Field Service Manager, and you'll work out of our Guaynabo, Puerto Rico location.
Achieve successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision. You will follow detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions with the help of Engineering teams. You will make improvements to Training guides and documentation. You will achieve continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will train the customer on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment. You will represent Honeywell at industry conferences and provide technical presentations.
In this role, you will impact the success of our field service operations and contribute to the satisfaction of our customers by providing exceptional technical facilitation and guidance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Be the face of Honeywell to the customer and interact directly with end-users
Use knowledge of end-to-end delivery of Honeywell solutions to enhance efficiencies
Become a technical expert for complex Honeywell solutions/product offerings
Local travel required within the island- 75%

YOU MUST HAVE
High School diploma or GED
3+ years’ experience in the Air Conditioning mechanical experience
Puerto Rico Refrigeration and Air Conditioning certification
EPA Certification – Universal Type
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Ability to speak, read and write English
WE VALUE
Industry (commercial/pharmaceutical/hospital) experience
Technical/installation experience
Customer service experience
Good written and oral communication in Spanish
Basic written & oral communication in English
Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes
Computer experience (Microsoft Office and emails)
Ability to perform to perform Quotes & Estimates for new mechanical opportunities
Active Certification (License) in refrigeration/ air conditioning from Puerto college (Licencia del Colegio de Técnicos de Puerto Rico)
Active EPA Certification for Refrigerant Management
Mechanical Experience (AHU’s, DX cooling systems, Pumps, Cooling Towers & A/C unit’s maintenance, and cleaning)
Experience to perform troubleshooting in A/C Direct expansion units, pumps and cooling towers.
Achieves successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision.
Good presentation skills
