Your role at Clorox:

Responsible for delivering Ecuador P&L while developing, deploying and leading the activation of Clorox strategies and superior in-store presence for all categories / brands sold in-country.

The Country Sales Manager is responsible for both, leading the Local Management Team and execution of demand creation plans, as well as the achievement of volume, distribution, shelving and Merchandising objectives across all product categories and brands within the country. Manage the Local Distributor, Direct Customers, leads the Sales team and Trade Marketing Organization, building selling skills and customer expertise.

In this role, you will:

Responsible for Delivering Ecuador P&L

  • Recommendation and execution Strategy & Make Plan priorities

  • Lead the execution of demand creation plans

  • Lead a strong performance management rutine

  • Raise performance gaps/issues to CEMT

  • Proactively identify business opportunities to accelerate growth

  • Communicate company BU and Country strategy & Make plan priorities across the organization

Responsible for Distributor Relationship(including Co-packer La Fabril) and Customer Management:

  • Develop the yearly Joint Service Plan for Distributors and Direct Customers

  • Develop and track KPI and Scorecard

  • Lead Customer Business Plan process

  • Develop JBP where applicable

  • Lead Service Provider Selection and Service Market Valuation

  • Fully deploy and execute the CVIT model

  • Develop Strategy and Market Plan- Lead the Organization to deliver the targets

  • Apply 20/20 Strategy to markets

  • Lead and Develop LRP, Budget and Financial Updates

  • Top and Bottom line results

Lead the Sales Planning Process

  • Ensure 18-month 3D plan development

  • Identify and Execute AmpS opportunities

  • Provide Sales input in S&OP process

  • Develop RR Planning

  • Market other General Management

  • Responsible for Employee Engagement

  • Lead Community Relations activities

  • General Administration responsibilities

  • Government Relations and Market Representations

  • Ensure green score for ICC

What we look for:

Years and Type of Experience:

  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in Sales and Marketing organizations, preferably in the consumer goods industry.

Skills and Abilities:

•Strategic/Organizational mindset

• Possess superior financial, administrative, public relations and market knowledge skills necessary to enhance overall operations.

•Computer sills (Excel, Word, Power-point).

•Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in both english and spanish

•Proven strategic and innovative thinking and analytical skills.

•Ability to work under pressure

•Inspire and guide personnel

•Strong priority setting abilities.

Education Level/Degree:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance or Engineering or equivalent working experience.
