Required Clearance:TS with SCI Eligibility – can start with SECRET clearance
Certifications:8570 IAT Level II and Computing Environment e.g. MD-100, AZ-104 or higher
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline or commensurate level of experience based on position level
Required Experience: 2-5 Years
PingWind is looking for a Tier 2 - Help Desk Technician who also knows VTC systems to work out of U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Successful candidate will provide call center/service desk services to both remote and walk-in customers throughout the USSOUTHCOM enterprise to assist with issues requiring resolution. Relocation, Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, shipment of household goods (unaccompanied), base housing, and access to government facilities/services are included; complete details of allowances and benefits will be provided to qualified applicants.
Responsibilities
Monitor and control electronic computer and peripheral electronic data processing equipment to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions.
Manage network accounts, password creation and resets, resetting Common Access Card (CAC) Personal Identification Numbers (PINs), Issue, track, provide configuration and management of SIPR and NIPR Token Cards.
Operate, and maintain a problem tracking solution that monitors and tracks the status of all submitted incidents, problems, and changes.
Provide the services required for user account creation, management, and administration across multiple classified and unclassified environments.
Maintain a customer-facing self-help knowledge repository for problem resolution. Monitor and respond to operating and error messages.
Enter commands at a computer terminal and set controls on computer and peripheral devices.
As a VTC Technician; tasked to perform a variety of electronic and technical assignments on data communications equipment and systems under general supervision.
Able to complete VTC system troubleshooting using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
Installs terminals, controllers, and test equipment and restores nonworking lines and/or equipment to working condition.
Maintains liaison with outside vendors and orders circuits and/or equipment as required.
Requires knowledge of specific modems, test equipment, and terminal configuration.
May develop recommendations for the combined usage of data processing and telephone system hardware and software

Preferred Qualifications
Systems Administration or Network Engineer background a plus
Working knowledge or experience with Cisco Unified VTC Systems to include scheduling meetings, monitor call statuses, troubleshooting connection issue
