Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Primary Responsibilities

Material handle / Tracking

Tools Maintenance

Progress Report

Communication

Metal Security

Follow SOP / Drawings to build Glass making equipment.

Works with Melting / FDM Engineers to ensure proper equipment are built.

Schedule, budget, quality, and safety control during shop assembly /installation and startup support.

Traveling to support other plants including overseas when necessary.

Qualifications：

• At least 2 years’ experience in related jobs.

Education, Experience & Required Skills

• College degree and Mechanical Engineering background or other related

• Understand Construction Drawings (Auto CAD)

• Positive attitude

• English ability

• Familiar with TIG / Torch Welding .

• Need Security Background Check

• Good discipline (PDPC & 5S)

• Good parts management and maintenance skill

• Creative and with strong continuous improvement work characteristic

• Good communication, coordination, and follow-up ability

• Work independently by him/herself and also work well within team group
