Pine Instrument Company AP/AR Clerk in GROVE CITY, Pennsylvania
OVERVIEW:
The AP/AR Clerk is part of a three person accounting department that serves six closely related entities. The department is responsible for all Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Sales Tax and General Ledger transactions. The AP/AR Clerk will service the department by working on accounts payable and accounts receivable and the related paperwork to ensure they are documented and processed.
CLASSIFICATION:
AP/AR Clerk is a non-exempt part-time hourly position that directly reports to the AP/AR, Payroll Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Receive, log, and process invoices for payment.
- Payment Reconciliation: Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts.
- Accounts Receivable: Prepare and mail invoices to customers
- Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems.
Record Keeping: Organize and file financial documents and records.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Well organized
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some previous job-related experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
