Pine Instrument Company AP/AR Clerk in GROVE CITY, Pennsylvania

OVERVIEW:

The AP/AR Clerk is part of a three person accounting department that serves six closely related entities.  The department is responsible for all Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Sales Tax and General Ledger transactions.  The AP/AR Clerk will service the department by working on accounts payable and accounts receivable and the related paperwork to ensure they are documented and processed.

 

CLASSIFICATION:

AP/AR Clerk is a non-exempt part-time hourly position that directly reports to the AP/AR, Payroll Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Receive, log, and process invoices for payment.
  • Payment Reconciliation: Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts.
  • Accounts Receivable: Prepare and mail invoices to customers
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems.
  • Record Keeping: Organize and file financial documents and records.

     

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred.
    • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Aptitude for numbers
    • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
    • Data entry and word processing skills
    • Well organized
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some previous job-related experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
