Ruby Test Automation (Remote) We are seeking an expert Ruby Test Automation with strong Experience in test automation using Ruby. Location: Columbus, OH or (Remote) !!Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States!! Experience Requirements: - Minimum 7+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 2+ years in Web/API automation using the Ruby. - Minimum 2+ years of experience in Guidewire InsuranceNow (GIN) Product Testing experience - Proficiency in Agile methodologies and working within Agile teams. Key Skills and Responsibilities: Ruby Framework Expertise: - Extensive hands-on experience with Ruby framework components such as testcase templates, modules, test design sheets. - Proficient in working with Cucumber automation framework. Certifications: - Preferred: Guidewire Product certification. Automation Framework and Tool Proficiency: - Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level automation solutions and frameworks. - Experience in applying BDD principles or equivalent experience, and using tools like Cucumber. - Expertise in GitLab, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipeline integration. DevOps and Agile Expertise: - Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD implementation. - Experience in Agile processes such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Additional Technical Skills: - Added advantage if experienced as an automation architect with capabilities to research and adapt to new tools and technologies. - Knowledge of insurance domain processes is a plus. Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. - Strong collaboration skills to support and work effectively within onshore-offshore models. Added Value: - Ability to deliver innovative automation solutions tailored to complex enterprise-level requirements. - Proven ability to collaborate with team members from different departments and communicate effectively with customers. Applications will be accepted until Jan 6th, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $53K - $92K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
