Facilities Maintenance Technician - Up to $28/hr

Job Description

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing maintenance work orders for large apartment complexes. Your duties will include troubleshooting residential plumbing issues, HVAC work such as compressors, filters, and refrigerant, as well as troubleshooting and installing residential electrical systems. Additionally, you will handle painting, drywall, and lighting fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders for large apartment complexes.

• Troubleshoot residential plumbing issues.

• Perform HVAC work including maintenance on compressors, filters, and refrigerant.

• Troubleshoot and install residential electrical systems.

• Handle painting, drywall, and lighting fixture tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Steel toe boots.

• 2+ years of experience in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC (at least 2 of the 3).

• Own most of the following hand tools: screwdrivers, 1/4" and 5/16" nut driver, multimeter, tape measure, wire strippers, channel locks, crescent wrench, pipe wrench, hammer, pipe cutter, drill, drywall knives, painter’s tool.
