Job Description

An employer is looking for a Windows System Administrator local to Southern Connecticut to manage and support a Windows-based infrastructure. This person will be joining an internal systems team for a large client. This person will be installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows servers and systems. They will also be working on performing regular updates and patches to ensure systems are secure and monitoring for system performance, and troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues. In additional, they will be maintaining their Windows Server environment and will be responsible for overall system health.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience with Windows System Administration

Experience with virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V)

Strong knowledge with Windows Servers operating systems (2016 or 2019) Experience with PowerShell scripting

Familiarity with network protocols null
