Role Summary:

As Senior Production Lead you will drive Operational Improvement and grow further as a people leader.

The Production Lead holds a hierarchical responsibility for a team of employees working in different shifts, closely overseeing the Team Leads who lead those shifts. This pivotal role plays a crucial part in advancing our operational results and upholding a culture of accountability. Additionally, it serves as a stepping stone for future management positions within our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

• As the Production Lead, you will be in charge of overseeing the overall production performance of the assigned teams during the day shift. While the Team Leads handle the day-to-day operations during their respective shifts, you will actively take ownership of the production process and line utilization.

• You will be visible on the production floor, mentoring and developing the Team Leads and their teams.

• Ensuring effective coordination and clear priorities for the production teams and support departments will also fall under your responsibility.

• Being proactive, you will lead the way in meeting production targets, comprehending the underlying drivers, and devising plans to enhance overall efficiency.

• You will encourage employee involvement, foster open communication, and facilitate knowledge sharing and the exchange of ideas.

• Furthermore, you will promote behaviors that create a safe working environment and consistently deliver high-quality products to our customers, adhering to Johnson and Johnson's policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements.

• Finally, you will monitor, analyze, and continuously improve key performance indicators.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• To successfully fulfill this role, you should possess a bachelor's degree in (bio) process technology, chemistry, engineering, or a related field.

• Prior experience in a similar position, involving continuous improvement methodologies, is highly desirable.

• Preferably, you should be trained in Lean Six Sigma.

• Proven leadership abilities coupled with a people-centric management style will be crucial in driving collaborative success and achieving results.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary for effective team coordination and stakeholder engagement.

Objectives: conducting business surveys, planning and coordination, collaboration, influencing.
