A Quality Engineer is needed for a world leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives in the Griffin, GA area. The Quality Engineer ensures product integrity, manages customer issues, and leads quality control efforts using testing, inspection, and problem-solving tools, with a focus on communication and improvement.

location: Griffin, Georgia

salary: $38.26 - 53.57 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

• Review and approve sampling procedures, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data.

• Supervise programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production, testing, and measurement equipment.

• Direct workers in measuring and testing product quality.

• Plan and direct activities to maintain quality standards for processes, materials, and products.

• Develop and initiate standards for inspection, testing, and evaluation using knowledge in various engineering fields (chemical, electrical, mechanical).

• Potentially manage the overall quality control program.

• Willing to take Master's degree with 8+ years of experience.
