ManpowerGroup Electrician in Greer, South Carolina

Job Summary: The Electrician 2 will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. This role involves inspecting and testing electrical equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and troubleshooting a variety of electrical issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.

  • Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment; keep parts and supplies organized.

  • Perform both semi-skilled and unskilled labor duties related to electrical systems and equipment.

  • Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace parts, and reassemble using hand tools.

  • Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation; tighten connections as needed.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

  • Knowledge of three-phase and single-phase systems, including 480V systems.

  • Proficient in using electrical tools such as meters and megger.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective problem-solving abilities.

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office; familiarity with smartphone applications.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in electrical work.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues with equipment ranging from 120V to 480V.

  • Assist other programs with any electrical issues related to their equipment.
