Job Description

Performance Contracting is seeking a local Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to support operations near Aurora , CO . Primary responsibilities will include general warehousing duties and transporting deliveries to various construction jobsitesusing company-provided one-ton and three-ton trucks.

Job duties may include: 

• Loading and unloading trucks with equipment and materials

• Driving from our local warehouse to various vendors and job sites to deliver materials

• Handling of inventory, materials,toolsand equipment in both our warehouse and on project sites

• Inspect and review all incoming and outgoing tools & equipment for proper use and/or defects

• Perform general warehouse maintenance to prioritize safety, cleanliness, and organization

• Usehand tools, power tools,and safety equipmentas needed(training will be provided)

• This position issafety-sensitive.

This is a full-time hourly-paid position with an anticipated schedule of Monday through Friday with a start-time as early as 5:00 AM .

This position pays $25.00 - $30.00per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience driving

• Previous experience loading and unloading delivery trucks

• Must have a valid state driver's license

• Must demonstrate safe driving habits and clean driving record

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

• Local to the Denver Metro Area and familiar with local navigation

• Self-starter with ability to effectively manage time and delivery routes

• Dependable and accountable; takes ownership of tasks and responsibilities

• Maintains consistent punctuality when arriving for scheduled work hours

• Ability to communicate thoroughly and effectively

• Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time

• Ability to perform basic math

• Able to sustain prolonged periods standing and working outside

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical

Preferred Requirements:

• Pre-obtained DOT training/certification is preferred but can be obtained upon hire

• Forklift operating experience preferred but can be trained

• Previous warehousing experience is preferred

• Construction industry knowledge and knowledge of materials is preferred
