We are actively seeking a full-cycle Accountant/Bookkeeper to become a part of our team. In your role at Amaze, you will handle a range of financial and accounting tasks to support a healthcare startup. Your responsibilities will encompass cash flow management, accounts payable processing, maintaining the general ledger, conducting bank reconciliations, and generating financial reports. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong time-management abilities and effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with both the accounting team and other employees across the company.
Collect, monitor, and report daily cash activities while adjusting cash forecasts as needed
Process, maintain, and report all accounts payable records and payments as required
Prepare month-end internal financial statements, including balance sheet account reconciliations and income statement analysis, along with forecasting
Create any accounting ad hoc reports as requested by management and clients
Ability to communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand format.
Accounts Receivable duties to include applying incoming cash to customer accounts, workflow management and responding to customer inquires as needed
Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping position
Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, or other accounting software
Advanced Excel skills required
Must be based in Denver and willing to work in the office on a weekly basis
An associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business management is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred
CPA (current or expired) - preferred
Willing to consider candidates who are interested in working a minimum of 20 hours per week with the ability to flex up to 40 hours, as needed.
Pay for this position is $55,000 to $90,000 - depending on experience, education and certification(s)
