This position is for a (Rental General Mechanic) located in Greenwood, MS.
Summary: The Rental General Mechanic/Service Shop Technician position is responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repair, and preparation of rental equipment including Caterpillar, JLG and Genie scissor and boom lifts. This is a skilled technician position working largely independently with guidance from supervisors or service mentors. This individual will report to the Rental Store Manager, and serve customers located in the Rental Store.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing all accounts payable functions. Receives and processes invoices (production, expense, and freight) for payment, charging to appropriate company and account number. Resolves any problems with invoices prior to submission for. Receive and respond to customer requests for invoices, statements, W-9's, Receive and respond to vendor requests regarding invoice/payment. Distribute incoming mail to the appropriate department/personnel when needed.
Job Specifications or Qualifications:
Must be honest, reliable, and dependable, and display a positive attitude. Must be able to work well under occasional pressure or within work standards and deadlines. Must be able to work independently and/or with others in a team environment. Able to work standard five-day schedule, including daily overtime and occasional weekend hours as needed. Meet all eligibility requirements to drive Company vehicles, including a current, valid driver's license issued by the resident State, and maintain current motor vehicle liability insurance. Physical Requirements. Pass pre-employment background check, physical exam including drug screen, and meet all physical requirements for the position. Able to lift up to 50-80 pounds occasionally.
