Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Center Manager to lead the establishment and management of a new 24x7 Operations Center for one of our direct contract customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a dedicated team of five to seven employees, ensuring the center operates efficiently and effectively around the clock.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead the setup and sustainment of a new 24x7 Operations Center.

  • Manage and oversee a team of 5 – 7 employees, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.

  • Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices for the center.

  • Ensure continuous monitoring and management of operations to meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Coordinate with other departments to integrate operations and facilitate seamless service delivery.

  • Handle incident response management, including escalation and communication with stakeholders.

  • Provide leadership and direction in all aspects of managing the operations center, including staffing, training, scheduling and employee development.

  • Prepare and analyze reports on operations center performance and suggest improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, and CUI regulations in all activities, adhering strictly to company policies.

  • 2% travel is a possibility

    Job Qualification Requirements:

    Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience. A degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is strongly preferred. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

  • Experience in operations management with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of setting up and managing a 24x7 operations center or similar environment.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a team.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.

  • Experience in developing and implementing operational processes and procedures.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in operations management.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship is required.
