Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Occupational Health Specialist position at a specialty chemical manufacturing facility in Greenville, TX. The main responsibilities of the position are to provide direction and oversight to site personnel to ensure that Occupational Health related activities are carried out in compliance with regulatory agencies and company standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Support various projects to ensure a focus on best practices and safety compliance

• Conduct field inspections and interact daily with production employees

• Conduct internal audits of site Occupational Health programs to determine compliance

• Coordinate and conduct internal training activities

• Lead periodic self-audits of all program areas

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental, Safety, or related technical discipline

• 2-5 years of industry Occupational Health experience

• Working knowledge of Safety and Health government standards

• Track record of supporting/driving organizational change towards an improved HSE culture

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Commitment to continuous improvement

This is a long term contract assignment with the possibility of being hired by the company based on individual performance and business needs. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 11am-7pm.
