Job Description

A client in the Dallas, TX market is seeking Senior Systems Engineer, experienced in Algorithm development who has very broad experience across many technical disciplines within the Signals Intelligence domain. Will be required to lead one or more teams of System Engineers through the Systems Engineering development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system architecture design, hardware and software integration, and verification and validation activities related to COMINT and/or ELINT Airborne Systems. Support of both Internal Research and Development (IR&D) and customer awarded contracts is essential with this role.

iii. Essential Functions:

1. In-depth knowledge of SIGINT, specifically ELINT or COMINT, preferrable both

2. Direction Finding and Geolocation

3. Knowledge of Signal Processing using FPGA Devices

4. Communicates within and outside of the organization to influence leadership to accept new practices, approaches, and concepts

5. Communicates with parties within and outside of the organization, which includes large customers and vendors

6. Works to influence others to accept new practices, concepts, and approaches

7. Requires ability to communicate and influence leadership regarding matters of substantial importance to the SIGINT Systems Department

8. Responsible for improving upon existing processes or establishing new processes and systems

9. Signal Detection; Estimation; Analog and Digital Communication

10. Broad understanding Geolocation and Timed Direction of Arrival (TDOA) measurements

Skills and Requirements

1. Bachelors degree plus a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience may also be considered.

2. Graduate Degree plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

3. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of relevant experience is required.

4. Experience leading and establishing guidance across diverse teams is preferred.

5. Experience in design, development, and/or testing of SIGNT RF Antenna systems.

6. Signal Processing in FPGA Devices

7. Microsoft Office experience

8. Secret Clearance (with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance) 1. Operational SIGINT experience

2. Bayesian Probability Modeling

3. Probability Theory and Combinatorics

4. Modem Design

5. Leadership - Task or IPT Leader and/or Functional Management

6. Entire Program/Engineering Life Cycle Phases and Activities
