Robert Half is hiring! We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in the Greenville, South Carolina area. This role involves developing and maintaining software solutions, utilizing a variety of programming languages and platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications using Microsoft software tech stack, including C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, Azure, and MVC.

• Design and develop enterprise database management systems using Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and Oracle.

• Utilize industry-standard technologies and frameworks such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, NuGet, Twitter Bootstrap, JSON, Node, Angular for web application development.

• Lead development projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of software solutions.

• Integrate secure APIs whilst adhering to REST standards.

• Develop mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms, as needed.

• Maintain a strong understanding of security standards, vulnerabilities, and common exploits.

• Manage the software development life cycle (SDLC), ensuring all stages are effectively completed.

• Utilize enterprise source control and deployment solutions such as Azure DevOps, Git, and VSTS.

• Maintain an understanding of corporate IT Infrastructure and procedures.

• Utilize modern software architectures and design patterns in software development.

• Manage multiple priorities effectively while ensuring all tasks are completed on time.

• Maintain and manage enterprise software, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and functioning optimally.

Requirements

• Proficient in Backend Development

• Skilled in API Development

• Experienced in using C# - Sharp

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft SQL Server

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Continuously update technical knowledge and skills

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools

• Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
