What You Will Be Doing

The Facilities/Maintenance Assistant Manager at our Greenville, SC site is a vital leadership role responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities, including 16 hangars and numerous support buildings on the historic Donaldson Airfield. This position oversees a team handling all maintenance activities, including service tickets, preventative maintenance, and critical tasks such as flightline and ramp upkeep. The role also involves coordinating emergency responses to maintain operational continuity. Success in this position requires strong leadership and a proactive approach to facilities management, contributing directly to the efficiency and safety of our operations. Your expertise will play a key role in supporting the site's mission and fostering a well-maintained, productive environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of skilled maintenance professionals

- Oversee all facilities maintenance activities to ensure smooth operations

- Manage service and move tickets efficiently

- Ensure the timely completion of preventative maintenance actions.

- Coordinate flightline, ramp, and taxiway maintenance, including airport arresting cable activities.

- Act as the primary point of contact for emergency situations, ensuring rapid response and resolution.

Basic Qualifications:

- Must be able to obtain a US Security clearance

- Experience leading teams

- 10 Years experience working in facilities related roles

- Experience working in fast past environments

- Basic knowledge of electronic systems, HVAC Systems, and Computers/Computer hardware

- Experience using the following systems:

Microsoft Suite (Excel, Powerpoint)

SAP

ResolveIT/LM Buildings or AMCS (Asset Management Control Systems)

Desired Skills:

-Strong Communication Skills

-Strong Understanding of Maintenance Schedules on equipment.

- Effective communication skills both written and verbal with management, staff, customers, and external partners

- Effective customer relationship skills and ability to build long-term relationships

- Knowledge and experience in facilities management

-Knowledge of Airfield Operations to include flightline, taxi ways.

- Project management experience

- Government property management experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
