About the role

As a CBRE Account Digital & Technology Management Manager, you may be the primary technology advisor, customer facing lead and escalation for all aspects of D&T as it relates to the growth and operation of the Account that you will support. You may oversee resource(s) and/or directly support the deployment, general support, administration and training of technology applications. You may be involved in defining new requirements for enhancements.

This job is part of the Digital Strategy and Innovation job function. They are responsible for overseeing the implementation of new digital e-business options.

What you’ll do

  • Provide formal supervision to any employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and crosstrain staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines for technology projects that enable and support account and client priorities. Mentor and coach as needed.

  • Execute the organization's digital strategy and manage the digital roadmap to ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Maintain and own responsibility for an Account Technology Roadmap ongoing in alignment with GWS D&T initiatives. The roadmap should include delivery of new and evolving D&T solutions and development of case studies to measure success and operational efficiencies.

  • Increase technology and artificial intelligence literacy on the account and share feedback on technology products to D&T leadership.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure initiatives integrate with the company's technology infrastructure.

  • Track and report the performance of department initiatives.

  • Document procedures and standards and identify where procedures are not aligned with business or audit standard controls.

  • Provide tiered digital & technology support for end users. Troubleshoot technical problems such as application performance issues or network connectivity problems.

  • Research application development, infrastructure, or service standards.

  • Identify and solve technical and operational problems.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
