Bon Secours Mercy Health Business Engagement Specialist - Imaging in Greenville, South Carolina

Primary Function/General Purpose of Position :

The primary function of the Business Engagement Specialist is to drive revenue growth by maximizing existing service agreements and developing new client partnerships through strategic business plans. They analyze facility performance, facilitate discussions with stakeholders, and manage special projects and new product implementations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of departmental services. Additionally, they develop and implement strategic plans to boost gross revenue, attract new patients, and maintain strong relationships with providers and partners.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Revenue Growth and Budget Management:

  • Drive revenue growth by maximizing existing service agreements and developing new client partnerships.

  • Produce quarterly strategic business plans targeting areas of growth and opportunities.

  • Strategic Engagement:

  • Engage with physicians, groups, and providers to improve efficiencies in service lines.

  • Develop and implement master plans for new product or service line launches.

  • Internal Analysis and Performance Review

  • Provide internal analysis of facility performance through periodic reviews of market feedback related to services.

  • Conduct regular visits with active providers, research partners, employers, and other clients to maintain strong relationships.

  • Facilitation and Coordination

  • Facilitate discussions with multi-department leaders, external, providers, vendors, and other hospital partners.

  • Coordinate third-party scheduling, manage relationship with departmental groups, research sponsors, and other stakeholders.

  • Project Management

  • Handle new agreement setups, special projects, workflow improvements, and new product implementations to enhance care efficiencies.

  • Participate in vendor efforts to procure new service agreements and attract patients to outpatient facilities.

  • Strategic Planning

  • Develop quarterly strategic plans to boost the gross revenue of the statewide outpatient network.

  • Implement strategies for service recovery and serve as the point of contact for a network of physicians.

  • Expert Utilization of Customer Relationship Management

  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track interactions and improve service delivery.

Licensing/Certification

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, healthcare administration, communication, or a related field (required)

Master's degree in business, marketing, education, or communication (Preferred)

Work Experience

2 years experience in sales, customer service, education, or marketing (Required)
