Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist in Greenville, South Carolina to join our team. In this role, you will handle various tasks such as invoice processing and reconciliation, expense report management, and check runs. You will also be required to assist with month-end tasks and maintain accurate customer records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Keep precise records of customer credit

• Resolve discrepancies in invoices and liaise with the corporate AP team when necessary

• Carry out check runs and set up ACH payments, including obtaining bank information

• Assist with coding and paying expense reports

• Perform basic journal entries related to Accounts Payable

• Handle invoicing for multiple entities, which may include more complex intercompany entries

• Use Microsoft Excel to manage spreadsheets, pivot tables, and formulas

• Ensure a thorough and accurate G/L coding process, which may involve research and be time-consuming

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary. Requirements • A minimum of three years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the detail oriented Services industry.

• Proficient in the use of Accounts Payable (AP) systems.

• Proven ability to handle and resolve Invoice Discrepancies.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.

• Experience with performing Check Runs.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics software.

• Ability to create, manage, and analyze Expense Reports.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis.

• Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries.

• Demonstrated capability in managing accounts for Multiple Vendors.

• Expertise in efficient and accurate Invoice Processing.
