Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Greenville, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in the metal fabrication industry based in GREENVILLE, Pennsylvania. This role is pivotal in managing our human resources activities and ensuring our HR operations align with our business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's business goals

• Manage the hiring processes to ensure efficient and effective recruitment

• Oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development

• Direct the communication and execution of HR policies, procedures, and programs

• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and company policies

• Enhance employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues

• Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the department

• Assist with the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow

• Plan, organize, and control all activities of the department

• Participate in professional development and networking conferences and events. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Human Resources Manager role, preferably within the Metal Fabrication industry.

• Proficient in Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and other HR-related software.

• Strong understanding of benefit functions, including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee assistance programs.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with employees at all levels.

• Knowledge of compliance laws and regulations relating to HR, including labor laws, equal employment opportunity, and others.

• Experience in managing employee relations and resolving workplace issues in a timely and effective manner.

• Proven track record in implementing and managing efficient hiring processes, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Professional certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
