We are currently looking for a Quality Manager to join our team full-time to support our variety of customers. This position will manage the overall quality systems and product testing conducted for the Spartech, LLC production facility located in Greenville, OH. The position will be responsible for the supervision of the Quality lab personnel. Additional Plant Management responsibilities will also be required in this role (i.e.: safety, operations, etc.).

  • Responsible for site certification of IATF 16949 automotive quality system.
  • Manages the IATF systems at our Greenville manufacturing site.
  • Coordinates IATF and Quality audits between the plant and the innovation center in St Louis.
  • Oversees manufacturing-related processes, insuring they are in control and all products produced at the facility meet the requirements of the end-use customer.
  • Ensures that process conditions are monitored and controlled for product consistency and according to the specified conditions.
  • Ensures that products and process changes are made only according to the sequence of activities specified in the IATF process.
  • Oversees the testing in accordance with Spartech Lab Performance Policy and applicable Mil-Specifications so that all product grading is accomplished in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Represents the plant and Spartech in all aspects of professional dealings with customers, the technology community and the commercial group.
  • Resolves and communicates on customer complaints and handles technical and quality questions from internal and external sources.
  • Coordinates investigation and corrective action on all plant-related customer complaints.
  • Uses Lean/Six Sigma, FMEA, and 5S tools to drive continuous improvement across our business.
  • Assesses quality training needs and provides training to all site employees.
  • Aware of EHS policies and support.
  • Other duties as assigned.
