Greenville Emergency Department is a community-based hospital that is part of the Corewell Healthcare System. The Greenville ED is a 26 bed Level IV Trauma Center, treating minor to major medical and traumatic emergencies. Interdisciplinary team members collaborate closely to provide relationship-based care for our patients and their loved ones. Scope of work

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Associates in Nursing Required

  • Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years

  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required

  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days

  • Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association CHW 180 Days required

  • Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association 1 Year required

  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) - ENA Emergency Nurses Association 2 Yrs required

  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - ENA Emergency Nurses Association 2 Yrs required

  • NIH Stroke Certification - NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale 90 Days required
