Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Controls Engineer to join our team. Our main focus is building the tooling and testing for exhaust systems. You will join a team of 10 other Control Engineers where each subset of the team is responsible for handling a specific customer. Your primary responsibilities will include writing PLC code from scratch for new customer machines and programming Fanuc robots.

  • Typical work hours will be around 45 hours per week, which may reach up to 55 hours during peak times.

  • Flexible hours

  • You should expect 15-25% travel, which is always pre-scheduled and does not include weekends.

  • Travel will mostly be domestic, with occasional trips to Canada and Mexico.

Hard Skills

  • Programming from scratch in Allen Bradley PLC

  • Proficiency in programming Fanuc Robots

  • Ability to read/red line in AutoCAD electrical

  • Siemens PLC experience (plus)

  • Experience with ABB robots (plus)

  • Experience with designing in AutoCAD electrical (plus)

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks

  • Ability to travel and adapt to different work environments

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Greenville, Michigan.
