Decatur County Memorial Hospital NURSING INTERN in Greensburg, Indiana
POSITION SUMMARY
Reports To:
Director, Inpatient Nursing
Summary:
Under the guidance/supervision of licensed nursing staff, Student Nurse Intern will perform functions of a student regarding routine administrative/clinical/patient care tasks as identified in clinical skills list.
Work Schedule:
Must be able to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays. Must have the ability to float to other nursing units.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited nursing program and have completed at least two (2) clinical semesters
Experience
Two semesters and/or 6 or more credit hours of clinical experience or equivalent in an accredited school of nursing.
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.
Certificates & Licenses
BLS certification
Other Requirements
Ability to multitask in a high stress environment. This position requires frequent standing, walking, use of hands and fingers, lifting and carrying 0-100 lbs and pushing and pulling 0-100 lbs.
