Supplier Development Engineer - with Focus on Crisis and Risk Management

• Coordinating delivery crises management and providing supply chain expertise to solve crises

• Interacting with various stakeholders Purchasing Logistics Manufacturing Engineering to minimize the impacts to Volvo plants

• Identifying root causes of crises through deep dive and problem solving

• Coordinating communication with stakeholders in crises situations

• Monitoring high risk supplier in order to prevent crisis at our operations

• Contributing to the development and way of working within the team

• Serving as a key partner of Purchasing Operations groups regarding Supply Chain related issues

  Qualifications:

• Supplier Development Engineer focused on finding root cause and issues and providing crisis management/risk management. Find the solution and implement a solution-supplier development.

• Desired requirements:

• OEM or Tier1 experience.

• Experience within the automotive/trucking industry.

• Preferably located in the MI area or NC.

• Supply chain and/or Supplier quality experience.
