Summary:

Looking for an experienced Senior Lead Developer in ABAP, BODS as a key contributor for the business transformation leveraging SAP S/4 HANA, BODS, CI/DS and responsible for delivering Data migration for all key transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the design, build, deploy for development in ABAP, BODS for data migration for SAP S/4 HANA

  • Work closely with business partners to understand their requirements and provide optimal and scalable SAP solution options

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams from business and IT to identify, design, build and implement complex end-to-end scalable solutions for data migration

  • Translate non-functional and functional requirements into end-to-end solution design leveraging ABAP, BODS.

  • Diligently review and create quality documentation to capture: Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTMs), Functional Specs and strategy documents to support cutover, testing, data migration, security and deployment

  • Work closely with AMS partners to run and maintain the SAP platform

  • Adopt and adhere to Qorvo lean principles using standard processes, establish KPIs, systematic problem solving leading to continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Business

  • 10+ years of cumulative hands-on work experience inBODS, ABAP, CPI

  • Proficiency and expertize in SAP Data Services development tools, such as Data Services Designer, Data Services Management Console, and Information Steward .

  • Design, develop, and implement SAP BODS by developing ETL logic utilizing various features available in the Data Integrator component, including: Audit Rules, Built-in Functions, Interactive Debugger, Transforms such as Query, Key Generation, Table Comparison, History Preserving and Validation.

  • Proficient in working with multiple extractors connecting SAP, Non-SAP systems, and SAAS systems.

  • Knowledge on technical design and implementation of lifecycle activities associated with the extract, transform and loading (ETL) of database tables with automated utilities, ETL tools

  • Deploys code across Dev, QA and Production environments using central repositories

  • Development, maintenance, and support of new and existing data flows from multiple source systems.

  • Development, maintenance, and support of business rules and processes around data cleansing, consolidation, and validation.

  • Troubleshooting and debugging of ETL and SQL query issues, providing effective solutions.

  • Support for the data migration strategy and processes to enable efficient data conversion.

  • Knowledge on Development of load programs via a custom ABAP program or various SAP tools such as LSMW, LTMC / Migration Cockpit, ALE, etc.

  • Configure and optimize SAP Data Services jobs, workflows, and data flows to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

  • Strong knowledge of Core ABAP/4 to debug and resolve master data related issues

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot SAP Data Services jobs and processes to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
