What You Will Be Doing

This Commodity Buyer is accountable for the Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability, and Risk Management (QDCFTSR) of suppliers within the Contingent Workforce segment. You will be responsible for making sure that the segment business plan is implemented through the selection of the right suppliers, and by continuously securing supplier QDCFTSR performance by using the tools and purchasing/cross-functional network during production and post-production phases. This position will be based out of our Greensboro, NC headquarter location and will report to the Head of Services Purchasing North America.

Responsibilities will include:

• Develop, negotiate, and implement strategies resulting in improved performance, enhanced product quality, innovative technology, and maximum value

• Drive negotiations and executive agreements with suppliers within the Contingent Workforce segment (Blue and White Collar, IT consultants, and Engineering services)

• Contribute to segment business plan & be an active member in the global network of Buyers

• Drive all relevant activities to deliver on Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability, and Risk Management targets (QDCFTSR)

• Forecast cost evolution for scope of responsibility

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of strategic purchasing (e.g. end-to-end supplier relationship management, sourcing, negotiations, contracts) or business development (client relationship management, negotiations, etc.) experience

• Proven negotiation and communication skills

• Strong business acumen, agile in way of working

• Desire to work in a collaborative team towards a common purpose

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent working experience
