Greenfield Community College Human Resources Generalist in Greenfield, Massachusetts

GREENFIELD HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST This is a Full-time, benefited, non-unit position BARGAINING UNIT/NON-UNIT: Non-Unit ANTICIPATED START DATE: October 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter SALARY RANGE: \$55,000 to \$65,000 commensurate with skills and experience. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES Join our dynamic HR team at GCC! As an HR Generalist, reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources, you\'ll play an essential role in shaping a welcoming and equitable workplace culture. You\'ll lead key HR initiatives, from recruitment and onboarding to HR data management, all while contributing to a supportive and collaborative environment. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our diverse and growing community while developing your own professional skills. WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 37.5 Hours a week (8:00 am - 4:00 pm) This is an on-site position, with the option for teleworking in a limited capacity per the college\'s telework policy. MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Previous training and/or certification in Human Resources, legal studies, public administration, business administration or a related field with three (3) years of experience in Human Resources administration and/or operations OR the equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets Dedication to providing excellent customer service PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements SHRM or PHR certification Proficiency in HR/CMS and CIW/Microsoft Access EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: Applicants who do not meet the qualifications as stated above are encouraged to put in writing precisely how their background and experience have prepared them with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience required for the responsibilities of this position.
