Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to organize and facilitate maintenance on all production and facility equipment. The focus will be on ensuring equipment uptime and resolving quality and production-related issues through continuous improvement. This role involves electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting, and requires reading and interpreting machine electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate maintenance on all production and facility equipment to ensure equipment uptime.

• Resolve quality and production-related issues through continuous improvement.

• Troubleshoot programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• Read and interpret machine electrical and mechanical drawings.

• Use electrical test equipment as needed for repair and troubleshooting.

• Repair and rebuild electrical and mechanical components.

• Install, modify, and fabricate equipment and systems to meet production needs and schedules.

• Communicate maintenance situations clearly from one shift to another, including with the Maintenance Team Leader and Maintenance Manager.

• Maintain plant-wide accountability for operational aspects, including progress toward quality and production goals.

• Participate in continuous improvement in safety, quality, and housekeeping.

Essential Skills

• 2 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance.

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, including 3-phase motors (480v), volt meters, and electrical panels.

• Mechanical troubleshooting skills involving hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Experience with high-speed machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• MIG/TIG welding experience.

• Experience with high-speed packaging equipment.

Work Environment

This position requires working the night shift from 7pm to 7am. Employees may need to work 6-7 days a week until additional technicians are hired, at which point the schedule will return to an 8-hour shift format.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, Indiana.

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $64480.00
