Job title: Finishing Operator

Location: Greenfield, IN.

Shift:

Job Summary: The Finishing Operator will be tasked with Production Operator tasks as

needed (leading machine set ups and changeovers, problem-solving,

making decisions on machine adjustments, inspecting and packaging

finished products to customer specifications. In addition, the production

operator will be responsible for operating various coating, finishing, and/or

powered industrial vehicles to move inbound and outbound products).

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:

? Perform routine set-up and change over of machines, making adjustments as

needed to process operations accordingly.

? Run orders per product specifications and standard practices. This may include

sorting, labeling, and packaging products per customer specifications, quality

requirements, and standard practices

? Perform tests and check products routinely for multiple characteristics using

standard measuring tools, tape measures, etc.

? Operating the rewinds, driving material handling equipment as needed

? Staging, organizing, and maintaining a safe and accurate storage area and

staging area for slit rolls

? Understand and implement quality standards and procedures

? Meet production schedules and program production sequences for optimal

productivity.

? Maintain work area with necessary supplies to complete processes

? Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals.

Participate and share in performing all tasks necessary to run the facility.

? Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

? Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

? High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

? Must be able to follow written and oral instruction.

? Must prioritize safety in every aspect of the working environment adhering to

established safety practices, policies, and procedures.

? Must be able and willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests.

? Must be able to obtain Forklift Operator’s license.

? Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
