Our Human Resources team partners with leaders, associates, and the functional areas of HR to provide strategic Human Resources support enabling our associates and company to exceed organizational goals.

About the position:

Take advantage of this amazing opportunity to join a World Class HR team and business! You’ll lead an established Raymond HR Business Partner team at our corporate headquarters in Greene, NY, supporting Operations and Non-Operations teams, you’ll provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and guidance, and advice on a wide range of topics. You’ll attract, retain, manage performance, and develop our most important asset – our associates.

  • Lead the development of strategic human resources objectives and make recommendations for enhancements in support of departmental and corporate strategies.
  • Work with Environmental Health & Safety and business leaders to demonstrate and lead others for Safety First actions and mindset.
  • Partner closely with compensation, benefits, compliance training and development, and HRIS resources to achieve business goals.
  • Oversee Human Resource Business Partners to support to create and maintain an environment of positive associate relations. Ensure Human Resources programs are compliant with legal requirements and balance the needs of the business and the associates.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures. Assist as needed with conducting and documenting thorough investigations into employee concerns, addressing escalated labor relations issues.
  • Lead by example to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and ethical behavior and practice in all aspects.
  • Strategize talent acquisition, retention, succession, development plans and other HR initiatives based on organizational needs.
  • Lead efforts to proactively assess department needs for training and development and collaborate with the training specialists to create and deliver organizational development and training programs.
  • Use metrics and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement programs accordingly.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to associates and leaders.

About you:

  • 12+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • Understands and applies an expert-level knowledge of the concepts, practices and procedures relating to the overall body of HR knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and a sense of urgency.
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent business acumen, consulting, coaching (including leadership coaching), and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to uphold and exemplify the highest level of ethical practice, knowledge and behavior.
  • Ability to adapt, meet or exceed performance expectations in a changing and fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

It would be great if you had:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR certification
  • Experience in strategic human resources support of operations business groups (i.e. Quality, Facilities, Production, Manufacturing)
  • Experience with ADP or similar HRIS/ATS
  • Experience working across multiple business units

About the total compensation package:

Salary - $124,800 - $159,800 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.

Relocation – This position may qualify for relocation.
