About the role
Our Reliability team, composed of 12 people, is integrated in the Surface Maintenance department focuses on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through continuous improvement; by creating root cause solutions and proactive solutions to safely produce Soda Ash & Derivatives in collaboration with Preventive/Predictive Maintenance, Planning, Execution, Lubrication, Surface Production and Group Engineering.
As a Reliability Engineer, you will work to ensure maintenance techniques are effective, equipment is designed and modified to improve maintainability, ongoing maintenance technical problems are investigated, and appropriate corrective and improvement actions are taken. You will get the opportunity to contribute technical expertise, assessing and resolving problems on rotating and fixed equipment and have a positive impact on safety, equipment availability, and maintenance costs.
You will be accountable for:
Perform several analyses: Bad Actors Analysis; Root Cause Analysis; Failure Modes and Effects Analysis; Criticality Analysis; Critical Spares Analysis, etc.
The Planned Maintenance Optimization
The Bill of Material Optimization
Performing the Mechanical Integrity Inspections
Working on Call Rotation, 2-3 weeks/yr
We offer a permanent employment based onsite, with a 4/10 working schedule.
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (BS or MS) or Electrical Engineering (BS or MS).
1-3 years of relevant work experience in Soda Ash Production, Petro-chemical, Power Generation, Cement, Chemical, or similar industries as a Maintenance or Reliability Engineer in Industrial Maintenance or Plant Engineering
Competencies:
Knowledge of: Work Order Management/CMMS system (SAP is preferred); AutoCAD/Inventor
Experience with: Management of Change; Root Cause Analysis; and Total Productive Maintenance
Analysis Methods & Technologies (Nice to Have)
Lubrication Analysis or Technician
Vibration Analysis
Ultrasound
Thermography
Motion Amplification
PMI
Electrical Signature Analysis
Partial Discharge

About the pay and benefits
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the United States base pay reasonably expected for this role is $102,000 to $125,000/year, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
