Position Overview
The Material Handling Forklift Operator is primarily responsible for loading finished goods produced at Green River into trailers to be transferred to the local Distribution Center or into customer trailers in ordered to be shipped to Church & Dwight customers and outside Distribution Centers.
Responsibilities
Operates a fork truck equipped with and without push/pull unit proficiently.
Handles product in a manner such that there will be no visible damage to any individual package or loss of unit integrity.
Loads trailers and containers accurately and to specification.
Maintains necessary paperwork with a high degree of accuracy.
Performs daily preventative maintenance inspections on forklifts.
Maintains a clean department by sweeping and dumping trash at the end of each shift.
Proficient in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and PLM (the labeling system) in order to load trucks in a timely manner.
This will be a part-time position with a choice of the following schedules.
Monday- Thursday 9:00 am 3:00pm
Tuesday- Friday 9:00 am 3:00pm
The hourly rate for this position is 40.11.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED is required .
Warehouse Management System & forklift equipment experience preferred.
Work any shift during the week as well as weekends.
Use safe operating procedures and judgement.
Follow all facility rules to maintain quality and integrity of both raw materials and finished products.
Lift 50 pound consistently.
