Job Summary The primary purpose of this job family position is to plan, organize and direct field personnel engaged in the operation, maintenance, and construction of electric substations and ancillary equipment of the Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) Electric Distribution System, the American Transmission Company (ATC) Electric Transmission System, the Wisconsin Public Service Power Generation\'s Power Plant Fleet, in Northeast Wisconsin. This position supervises represented employees in various occupations who perform all construction and maintenance work within WPS substations. This position will have a safety and training focus. The Substation and Transmission (S&T) group employs electrical professionals that are trained to perform the complex work located within substations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to experienced employees or trainees on electrical systems, safety protocols, and industry best practices. This position will work with our subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement training programs that enhance knowledge and skills, ensuring participants meet industry standards and safety regulations.
