JOB REQUIREMENTS: Your Job Are you looking for a unique supply chain opportunity supporting Rail Logistics? Koch Inc. is seeking a Procurement Analyst that will support railroad logistics. This role adds value supporting the best possible freight solutions that meet our service and cost competitive needs. As a member of this team, you have the opportunity to interact with businesses across Koch Industries and External Customers to identify and implement rail logistics solutions supporting the organization. Our Team The Transportation Procurement team is responsible for understanding shipper requirements and proactively and strategically engaging our carrier partners to deliver mutually beneficial and advantaged solutions. The scope of this role is primarily rail, but will interact with domestic surface modes, including Dedicated Truckload, One-Way Truckload, Intermodal, Flatbed, LTL, Expedited, Bulk, and more. The Transportation Procurement team is a part of KBX Logistics, a third-party logistics and assets management provider, which is a subsidiary of Koch Inc. The Transportation Procurement Team Manages over 100,000 rail carloads annually, supporting 165 rail served locations, both within Koch Industries\' and external customers.We partner with all Class I railroads and many smaller railroads. What You Will Do Collaborating across departments on transportation opportunities and reconciling issues Rating discrepancy research & resolution Loss & Damage Investigation and Freight Claim Resolution Fuel Surcharge & Accessorial Administration Trip & Rate Data Quality Management Pricing Document Support to include documenting SOP and workflows Ensuring accurate and up-to-date pricing information is maintained in company systems Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience working in a procurement or logistics or supply chain position Experience using Excel to: create pivot tables, format data and conduct VLOOKUPs Experience documenting standard operating procedures What Will Put You Ahead Experience working in a cross-functional organization and collaborating across teams Experience in rail pricing, fleet management, maintenance, operations or equivalent Experience with using large data sets for decision-making, reporting, and presenting to stakeholders. Experience working and supporting the Rail Logistics Industry Experience leveraging data tools such as tableau or Microsoft Access or PowerBI At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
