Job Summary

As the Manager Business Continuity Management (BCM), you will be a member of Molina Healthcare’s Business Continuity Management team, reporting to the Director. This role will be responsible for executing and maintaining the business continuity planning lifecycle for Molina. The successful candidate will implement and deploy right-sized strategies across all critical business functions across the enterprise for all Molina operations. This role will liaise with various functions and partners to scope, develop, maintain, and improve Business Continuity Plans and procedures. Through systematic coordination and execution, this role will prioritize the roadmap and elevate resource needs to improve recovery time and ensure the resiliency of the business. Additionally, this role will facilitate annual exercises including walkthrough, tabletop, simulation and full-scale including coordinating with IT disaster recovery on annual end-to-end testing. Activities will ensure alignment with policies, standard and procedures in deliverables. Additionally, this person will support incident management activities during disruptive events as needed.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Driving commitment, support, ownership, accountability, and results for Business Continuity Planning with business stakeholders

  • Fostering a culture of resilience through planning, education, training, and analytics

  • Proactively engaging in identification, prioritization, and documentation of critical business functions through the business continuity planning lifecycle

  • Identifying and partnering with the business to design and implement recovery strategies that mitigate or reduce disruption to Molina operations

  • Validating, testing, and identifying gaps in recovery strategies and communicating results to leadership

  • Aligning business continuity and incident management teams across the geography to ensure successful recovery of operations within an acceptable downtime

  • Monitor and track annual compliance, regulatory and reporting requirements. Generate regular and annual compliance reports, metrics, and trend analysis

  • Coordinate and facilitate business participation in annual testing and planning activities with IT Disaster Recovery team

  • Capacity to extend support for incident management team activations when prioritized

Job Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years demonstrated leadership in programs at a national or enterprise level

  • Minimum 5+ years experience across crisis management and emergency response disciplines

  • Minimum 2 years experience with project management

  • Extensive knowledge of BC in the Cloud and Everbridge (including VCC, SafetyConnect and Notification). Envoy, and Keylight/Lockpath experience preferred

Required Licensure or Certification:

  • BCI or DRII certification(s); master’s level certification preferred. Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) desired

You have a deep understanding of:

  • The candidate should have a strong grasp of:

  • The full business continuity management lifecycle at a hands-on level including:

  • Risk assessment (RA)

  • Business impact analysis (BIA)

  • Designing recovery strategies to meet RTO/RPO and SLAs

  • Planning

  • Developing, coordinating and reporting on tests and exercises – walkthrough, tabletop, simulation and full-scale

  • Metrics, reporting and analysis

  • Extensive experience with BC in the Cloud (Infinite Blue), Everbridge (including VCC, Notification and SafetyConnect). Envoy experience preferred

  • Software skills & competencies are required, as well as internet research abilities and strong communication skills. Includes: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and also preferably a familiarity with SharePoint and Visio

  • Excellent knowledge of business continuity/information availability/disaster recovery best practices, policies, and procedures

  • Extensive knowledge of project management, software implementation, and application development

  • Knowledge of computer operating systems, computer networking and data communications technology, IT disaster recovery and business recovery planning, IT strategy, planning, and information

  • Familiarity with best practices and standards, including ISO 22301, HIPPA, PCI, IOSCO, CMS and Department of Homeland Security guidance

Pay Range: $88,453 - $206,981 / ANNUAL
