When traumatic situations occur, our staff is there to assist the individual or family with their journey of healing and recovery. Family Services cares for individuals who are isolated, abandoned or just need help developing the skills to live successfully. We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable and fun full-time Mental Health Technician for our overnight team at Our Place, an 18-bed Community-Based Residential Facility serving adults with mental health and/or emotional issues who are experiencing difficulty caring for themselves in an independent living environment. A Mental Health Tech\'s primary duties are to provide emotional support and encourage residents to participate in activities; pass medications; ensure Individual Service Plans are followed; and respect and support clients and team members. The shifts are overnight and include facility cleaning and food prep, as well as being available for residents as needed. Shifts are 8:30pm-8am. Team members work a 2-2-3 rotation, enjoying every other three day weekend off! Compensation includes a full benefits package. Qualified candidates will have minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience working with the chronically mentally ill and completed CBRF training is preferred for this position but not required. A valid driver\'s license is also preferred for this position. This is a great opportunity to gain experience working with individuals with mental health issues in a supportive, team environment.
